The ATV tour in the Sacred Valley can start in the morning (7:00 am) or in the afternoon (1:00 pm). We meet at the Plaza de Armas in Cusco (location coordinated the day before the tour) and then take a nearly one-hour trip to our base located in Cruzpata.

After a brief explanation on the use of the ATVs and safety issues, we will begin with a 10-minute practice session, then we will start our circuit.

The ride lasts approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, all off-road. There will be stops at viewpoints and special places to take photos, where you can get a glimpse of the daily life of the people who live there and also admire the typical facades of their houses.

We will ride through spectacular places where few people pass and where nature displays its greatest splendor to impress us at every moment.

Along the route, we will also observe local agriculture up close and have the option to visit the archaeological site of Moray, known as the “Inca agricultural experimentation center,” optional entrance. From September to December 2022, the visit to Moray is not available for this tour.

After completing the ATV circuit, our transport will take you to the Maras Salt Mines, as it is prohibited to enter the salt ponds with these vehicles.

We will also admire indescribable landscapes with high mountains that are still sacred to our people.

Among the highest peaks, you will be able to distinguish the 5,682-meter-high “WaqaqWillka,” known as La Verónica, as well as the guardian of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, “El Chicón,” 5,530 meters above the ground.

Additionally, you will have a panoramic view of the “Vilcanota” mountain range; then we will return to our base where we will take our transport back to Cusco.

P.S. This tour can also start and end in Urubamba or another location in the Sacred Valley, with transportation at an additional cost.
